Poor guy.
Well, Wednesday night we found diarrhea upstairs. We cleaned it up and noticed Beau was acting kind of off. He was a bit lethargic and we figured his tummy was just not feeling good. Anyways, the next day he was really restless and would lie down, then move his back end and lie down again, over and over. He refused to hold his tail up and was walking a bit stiff in the back end with his back arched ever so slightly. His appetite's off and he won't eat dog food well. He'd take treats but would sit with them in front of him forever then finally eat them. That's totally not normal, he'd usually just scarf it down. So we were worried and took him in to the vet's. As soon as we got there, he got excited and was acting fine. We weighed him and he was down a few ounces (which is a lot for him). They drained his anal glands and that was it. Said he looked fine and seemed confused as to why we brought him in. So we brought him home and he was acting stiff and such again. He barely ate and was restless all night. He refuses to play with his sister, which is also very odd. so he's back in the vet's today. He'll probably act fine once he gets there. I'm sure to most people that don't know him that he looks normal. But there's definitely something going wrong.
Anyways, I'm worried and will be worried until we get this all sorted out. We need some good vibes for Beaubeau. And he turned three years old today too.
