Is Sammie ugly?

I know it's silly that this bothers me but I was looking at the pics I posted on the dog pictures section of this forum and only one of my pics has any ratings so far and it was rated 4.5 . It's the ONLY pic i see with such a low rating. I know it's just a plain pic, no special pose or anything but there were other plain pics of common-looking dogs as well and they were all rated like 7 or 8. Is my dog ugly?? I'm sorry I'm being so high-maintenance/ emotional or as my boyfriend says "such a girl" but It hurt my feelins a little. I think she's adorable w/ the big floppity ears and such. Anyway here's the pic.

me too I never go to that section of the forum....the only time I look at photos is when they are posted in a thread...

I think a lot of people don't even look at the pics over there, let alone rate them. I didn't even know that section of the site existed until about a week ago! LOL! And your dog is ADORABLE!!!

I'm with the others--never even been to the photo section--so don't even know the rating, etc..
Why care what others think? You fell in love with your pup--would you not have taken her if someone said she was ugly? Don't have kids if you are worrying about this--LOL!!
BTW--I think she's adorable--I love hounds! (see my little guy!)

Hardly anyone goes in the pictures section...you're better off posting photos in the General Dog Chat...then you'll get tons of compliments!

You can love your kids more than life but it still hurts if someone critisizes them. The more you care about your dog/children the more it bothers you when someone says negative things. I know it's not a big deal. It just surprised a little.

Sammie is the farthest from ugly. Believe me. Sammie is so cute it's making me clench my teeth to stop myself from babytalking to the computer. How can you possibly see Sammie every day and not melt, LOL?

EXACTLY--that was my point! so --- let go of worrying about what others think, adore her and enjoy her! (AND this will apply even more to your kids--oh boy, if you think it hurts to have someone you don't even know think your dog is ugly....time to work on letting those things roll off your back!)
