Thankfully, he's only done this once (and I learned my lesson - do NOT tell Goblin to "Get that squirrel!").

He hasn't climbed that tree since then, thankfully, and he got down from the tree uninjured. Of course, I didn't have a ladder (and neither did my neighbors when I asked to borrow one), so I ended up pulling out my clicker and clicking for moving down the branch towards me. Once he got down far enough, he jumped into my arms - good thing he only weighs 30lbs!
