There is an 11 month old female Irish Setter at a local rescue (she is in a foster home right now) that is in need of a forever home. The description on her is vague and I am currently awaiting an email back from the foster family about her. Can anyone tell me about them?? From what I've heard, they are extremely high energy (not a great fit with my laid-back pup Bodi). My neighbors had an Irish Setter for 12 years and they say she was the best dog they ever had. I've always been very interested in English and Gordon Setters - but shyed away from Irish Setters. Am I missing out??
