She's a 2 year old Retriever/Chow mix. We've had her nearly a year
I have no idea why she insists on sitting in the cupboard in the bathroom, but she does, everytime I blow dry my hair!!
Its not animal cruelty, honest
Hi! And welcome to Chazhound! i'm sure you'll enjoy your stay here .. Lucy looks beautiful! what a great mix! glad to have you both aboard!
LOL! She is so cute sitting in there. They are so funny. Brady lies on my bed everytime I take a shower or blow dry my hair. He even comes in the bathroom to check on me.
She is so pretty..LOVE the color! How funny she sits in the closet...that's tooo cute. Maybe she thinks it is 'her' house! LOL
What a pretty dog!!!!!!!!!!!!
aww she's adorable
Soooo Sweet! Its funny how dogs get into their own routine. I think if anything changes from it, they would get worried. Sadie will wait every morning for me to go up and take my shower to go to work in the morning and lay in the bathroom. I'll get up to get coffee or do dishes or something and she'll pop up and see I'm not going up the stairs and say "OK false alarm" lol its when I actually GO UP the stairs, here comes Sadie.
She's a pretty little gurl!! maybe where she sits in the cupboard gives her the best view of you while staying out of the way...she looks very intelligent!
What a smart looking sweetheart! They pick up the oddest habits sometimes. Bimmer waits outside the bathroom door when I'm in the shower. When I dry my hair, Kharma comes and watches. I think she's not entirely sure the blowdryer isn't a weapon of some sort that she needs to protect me from.
What kinds of fun little quirks does your Lucy have? I just know you've got lots of funny and endearing Lucy stories to tell . . .
Awww....thankyou for all the kind words!!
Lucy is a little unsure of the hair dryer which might be why she stays close. Its the same with the vaccuum cleaner - she doesnt like it, but keeps it close enough to 'attack' it if she needs to!
She is very intelligent but we're having some real trouble training her to walk on the leash at the moment and nothing I've done in the last year seems to have worked. I will put a post up about that later though because I'm in desperate need of some help!!
shes so cute i love the one of her in the closet
Try getting her a halter, Vicki, it's much easier to control a dog with the harness around the shoulders than the collar around the neck.
She's so pretty, reminds me of a dog we had once ( the color and face) but she was a lot smaller(pomeranian mix). I love her in the cupboard!
