In which we go to OH for a dog we don't need... BABY PLOTTS!

Sooo... last Saturday/Sunday we went to Ohio to visit some friends of ours, hunt with them, see the Jebblets, and pick up our 2 and a half year old female from the same cross. There was like 14" or so of snow, so no hunting, but we did get to see some doggies. Without further ado...

Quite happy with my new dog!

So far, she's everything I'd hoped for in a Plott... colorful, intelligent, not an excessive barker, crates well, handles well, and small enough that I can handle her in nite hunts, water races, and field trials (Eerie and Bear can both drag me directly into a pond with little to no effort...). We'll see how she polishes off in the woods, but so far I'm extremely pleased.
