As a long time raw feeder, (15+ YEARS, multiple dogs of all ages) this is so far out there it is not even funny.
A large part of the diet of any wild canid is putrifying carrion and fecal material of other animals. Normal canids, including your dog, have the digestive systems, acids, and Ph balances to tolerate and even thrive on such a diet.
My own personal dogs love meat that would be repugnant and almost certainly harmful to a primate. They routinely bury fresh pieces of meat/bones and dig it up days later and eat it.
The lone exception to this rule are GROUND MEATS, which should be kept and handled as though for human consumption. Grinding meat puts bacteria that is normally on the outside of the meat (in manageable levels for any canid) into the moist nutrient laden interior of ground meats. If left at even modestly high temperatures, ground meats can q uickly build a bacteria count that is not safe, even for dogs. So, exercise care with any GROUND MEATS. Otherwise, pretty much anything is edible for a dog who is accustomed to a raw diet.
If you are going to make comments on a raw diet, it would be really good to make comments that are factual.

Dogs bodies are designed by nature to not have issues with salmonella, considering their stomach acids are 10 times stronger than ours. Salmonella affects us, not them. A dogs digestion starts in the stomach, not their mouth like us.
The more you cook, the more nutrients are cooked out. Thats what happens with kibble. It's cooked to death.
There is good,beneficial oil and bad for dogs as with us. Dogs will benefit from fish oil and coconut oil. I add fish oil to my dogs diet regular, because I feed them raw meat,bones and organs. Nothing else. I have for almost five years now and will forever more.

any meat you get from most grocery stores is shipped frozen. it is thawed & packaged there. it may or may not be cut on a meat bandsaw at the store. the exceptions are like a local 2 store chain (Kohlers) where the owner also keeps a herd of cattle to supply his store w/ good beef at a lower price.

I can tell you that the handling of raw meat is the only outrageous propaganda the AVMA & AHMA and most veterinarians can give for not feeding their favorites like Hill's Prescription Diet, Science Diet, Purina, etc.
I've recommended raw meat diets to thousands and not one has gotten sick or been "recalled" compared to what garbage kibble has done.
Along with most people, I cook and the meat always started as raw and never got food poisoning, nor anyone I know.
