Saje knows this because she and i were online when it happened. But i havent seen Maxis the stray in a couple days and of course i was worrying and wondering what he was up to. Well late last night one of my motion detector lights flipped on and I look out at my shed and underneath I see this big red bum facing me. And i knew it was him and had to heave a sigh of releif. Today after returning from runs and cleaning out kennels in the barn i walked out to watch the mutts playing in the field lol. And low and behold I see Maxis sitting at the outside of the fencing closer to the house then ever before watching everyone play or rest. Eventually Pakak of all dogs ran up to where Maxis was sitting and they sniffed noses. I was watching this from a pretty far off distance and was holding my breath the whole time. I then watched Pakak give Maxis alittle play bow and then yapped at him and they started running back and farth along the fence both dogs wagging their tails like crazy. Some of the other dogs attention got caught but only Tracker and Zeus starting barking aggressively at him and he just kinda tucked his tail and ran off on to the trails

And so just a halph hour ago when everyone got their lunch I walked across the field/pasture and tossed a few peices of meat off onto the trail. I figure if i get Pakaks assistance with this we can win his trust and finally get him penned. Im hoping Tracker and Zeus did'nt scare him too bad and that he won't come back . Anyways just thought I would give a update on the stray.
