Ok, you've all heard me complain about how Sawyer hates this one beagle that lives here and gets all snarky and crap when he sees him. Well, we were just outside going potty and the beagle came out. Sawyer was off-leash right at first but he held his stay QUIETLY until I clipped the other end of the leash to him (have I mentioned lately how much I LOVE these leads?) and then sat when told and QUIETLY watched the beagle as the beagle went potty and then started jumping around at the end of his lead like usual (one of Sawyer's biggest pet peeves with any dog). I gave them a little bit of a head start before starting back towards the stairs myself and Sawyer very nicely and QUIETLY walked next to me, even when the beagle went up on his back legs on one of the landings and shoved his head through the railing ...I'm so proud!!

Oh and Virgo was quiet and well-behaved as well but she feels like crap right now so she doesn't get as much credit for being good.

Diarrhea...I think it's because she stole a couple little rawhides from Janette's dog last night. Not entirely sure though. She's got a funny digestive system; things you'd think would be horrible don't faze her in the least and then other, totally random things give her the runs. She's fasting until dinner tonight and then I'll boil a little chicken and rice for her to see how that goes.

make sure there is no blood in that stool i am very nervous about "little" rawhides. THat is why i only get the squares. I Could see Virgo swallowing one of those.

She chewed it up pretty thoroughly, actually. When no other dogs are around, she takes her time with things. I haven't seen any blood, just goop. A little mucus-y on this last bit but nothing too out of the ordinary.

Good news! There's hope for him and that beagle to be buds yet :D

Hopefully the fast and rice/chicken will do it, feel better Virgo.

Oh, he went and did some fluffy puppy bowling at the park. I've figured it out, he's not being mean, he just thinks little dogs are automated squeaky toys and he likes to make them squeak.

Well Virgo's tummy is back to being fine...now she's just limping badly on one of her back legs. :( I'm hoping she just came off a stair wrong and then is stiff from sitting on it all day.
