Probably. It's one of the last benched shows left in the country. There is TONS of shopping (I've just stopped informing DH of how much cash I actually bring every year), agility, obedience, rally, etc....

I have been considering it!

Which is the least crowded day to go? Saturday or Sunday? I would think Sunday.......

Do you take the train into Chicago? Or do you drive? I would prefer the train if at all possible............I need to check the location and scheduling!

EDIT: WOOT..........We can take the train right into McCormick place :D I am SERIOUSLY considering this!

benched shows? I don't know what that means
Bench Show - A dog show at which the dogs are kept on assigned benches when not being shown in competition, thus facilitating the viewing/discussion of the breeds by attendees, exhibitors and breeders.
:D A mini chaz meet up would be AWESOME! I am considering it seriously, but still have to check on some scheduling and stuff..........why is it when you have NOTHING to do, there is NOTHING that you want to do? But when you DO have obligations, there are all sorts of things that creep up  LOL

Probably Sunday--it's fairly crowded both days though--try to get there early if you have a specific breed you want to watch because some of them start at like 8 am (it seems like the labs are always that early), plus it's not as crowded earlier. The breed rings generally run into the early afternoon...

We have taken the train and driven. It depends on if we are going both days, how long we are planning to stay, etc. But yeah, the train takes RIGHT TO Mccormick.....

PWcorgi--"benched" means that dogs are more accessible to show spectators--they are assigned to certain areas and there are dogs out in the different breed areas where you can talk to breeders, interact with the dogs, etc.
