(Yes, I am referring to a picture thread that was started..and some rumors that now I think any dog on a tether or a leash is an abused dog. It was EXTREMELY childish. And i guess I prefer to not be around childish people.
Oy vey. The thread is mine, for any who don't know. Punky, the back story is that people dissing all kinds of chaining - and even though you said it was only constant tethering, your actions proved otherwise, especially when you insisted that the important part was not that you made a snap judgment but that it turned out to be accurate - really push my buttons. We have one member on here, who is NOT YOU, who crawls out of whatever dark hole she lives in to post flame-fodder threads about how eeeeevil people who tether their dogs are, refuses to listen to reason, and generally pisses everyone off. Your posts pushed those buttons. I made a thread to vent about it and share the pics I kept telling Zoom I'd upload.
Hopefully she accepts my apology. And I honestly don't have any harsh feelings..and maybe someday I will come back to this forum, and not be called a cruel person.
I never called you a cruel person, and when you thought I was saying you were I explained that I was not. I did, and still do, think you were bullying Kayota.
(And since this forum is a popularity contest I am sure not too many people will even read this since I am not one those "known members".
I completely missed this thread all afternoon, but now I get why chat peeps were laughing at me and asking for popularity tips.
Eh, I would just let it roll off your shoulders. Everyone has had an unpopular opinion at one point in time. No one hates you because you expressed your opinion in one thread... I'm sure of it.
I'm going to second this. I certainly don't hate you, although you definitely pushed my buttons.
I'm also going to second what everyone else said - everyone gets called out for the crap that they pull on here. It might be a very gentle reminder (especially if it's from Renee or Beep) or it might be pretty rude (like if it's from me, Charlie, Jess, or god forbid, Becca
). I've been politely and not-so-politely called out on my behavior on here many times (recently in fact) and while it's never fun, people always have a point and I find I learn more by listening to them than I do otherwise.
