I say don't part with the lens...years down the road..your going to want it.

I packed my Nikon and it is hiding from me again. Once again..a search. We are about to have a new baby in the family and I have to find it soon! Please send show up camera vibe.

I'm at peace with the decision to let that lens go. It seemed more of a shame that I wasn't using it and had a hole in the wide-angle department. But if/when the time comes to start back with the birds again, I've still got most of that money tucked aside and will consider something a bit quicker focusing so I can nail the birds as they're flying .
