My step-dad has this friend he's known for years. He's really... well... he's never clean, let's put it that way. He always smells, he's just kinda creepy, he is a weird person, kinda of a big loser, ha... Anyways, his heart is usually in the right place, he's not an evil person, but there's just something about him... most people don't like him. My stepdad has known him for years and feels bad for him.

He always just walks into our house... he doesn't do it often, but if he's needing to use something or borrow, he just walks in, which is whatever.... I don't mind, but honestly, Jackson takes a bit to warm up to people but once he sees you 2-3 times on separate occasions, he will love you forever. This is the only person he does NOT like still... after all these years. To me that says something. I take my dogs judge of character seriously.

I am constantly telling this guy to just come in and give him a treat, or simply ignore him. He's fine when you ignore him. But he walks forward TOWARDS him very abruptly which of course causes him to bark. Then the guy gets frustrated that my dog still doesn't like him. One time he just grabbed his harness and was pulling him in towards him, and I yelled at him! I'm like you idiot, that's not how he's going to like you.

So today, he walks in, Jax happened to be near a corner, so Digger (yes thats the guys name) came stomping towards him loudly (to get him to stop barking) and corners him, and he freakin' expresses his anal glands. And he's still so sweet, if I were a dog, I would've bit his face off. Jackson just walks away.

UGH so sick of stupid people who do not know how to listen. *I* know my dog, I know how he likes to be approached, I've told you this, you still don't listen. Now hopefully he will understand. After I washed off his nasty smelling butt, Digger got down on his knees and gave him a piece of cheese, but he still does not trust him, obviously.

Jackson likes everybody else that I introduce him to, and show that they are okay. He will bark at anyone coming the door, but quickly stops within seconds after I show him the person is okay. He's just a sweet boy most of the time, and he REALLY loves you once he gets to know you. But yeah the fact that he still cannot stand Digger proves something to me. I knew there was a reason I never liked him either. :p

OMG! I would tell that guy to stay AWAY from my dog. PERIOD. Or maybe whisk Jackson away the second that moron comes busting through the door. Why doesn't your Dad tell him to knock first? For cryin' out loud! No wonder Jackson doesn't like him. He's a bumbling, oblivious dumba$$ for intimidating Jackson like that.

Yup :( It's not extremely rare for him, when he's really scared, he tends to. But it typically only happens at the vets, or the groomer.

I yelled at the guy so bad after. And I think that's why afterward he was all lowering down, and giving him a treat... he felt like an idiot!
