What she needs is a big dog to keep her in line so if you send her here for a while Fudge will whip her into shape lol .

Also if she tries to get underneath OUR couch she will kill herself :) There is only about a 1" gap

I was going to suggest the screen, too.
Lol thanks guys...

I don't know about stapling to the couch, but I could possibly try it. Knowing me, I'd mess up the couch worse lol!...
It really isn't all that dificult. I did it to the couch on the porch to keep the rabbit out from under it. Flip the couch over (forward), and measure the legs. Then simple cut the screening a little wider then the legs are long, and staple to the legs and along the fram in a couple of places, pulling it kind of tight between legs. Next, fold the screen down over the bottom of the legs, and staple (when the couch is upright, the screen will be folded under the legs).

You could even buy a piece of molding that will fit JUST under it between the legs, at home depot they have a cutting station where you can measure and cut what you need (or ask a cute boy to help you) and wedge it under there...but it's gotta be tight enough she can't push it over. Plus you can bring the girls along, home depot is dog friendly :)

if the couch legs unscrew , take them off and have a lowslung couch.

that way when she outgrows the evillness yu can rescrew them in and be back up to size and no need to go buy anything.

if the legs are perment , then ya i would go the home depot route and get the wood.

We had the same problems with the chis a couple of years ago, so we took the legs off of the couch. I'm not sure if your couch is the same way, but if you flip it you can actually unscrew each of the legs so the couch will sit flat to the ground.

After moving into our house, we put legs back onto our couch... the chis haven't gone under it yet (thankfully!).

One of our couches has flaps at the bottom and when Izzie was a puppy she used to hide under there and attack our feet or the other Pugs when we walked past or sat down. Now she can't fit under there.

But when i was in my old house we put the 2x4s under the couch to keep the cat out and we just wedged them under there, didn't screw them together.
