I may be getting my Persian!

Just when I thought it might not happen, a Persian is about to fall into my lap. A customer at work, who has a five year old male, has recently added a 10 week old female. The male is not pleased. As in has peed on every carpet in the house as well as Mommy's bed sort of not pleased. The male is boarding with us while her carpets are professionally cleaned (apparently he was in an absolute rage), and she wants to rehome the kitten.
The baby is mostly black, with some white on her chin and white tips on her fur. She is current on shots and worming.
I had hoped to get one a little older, because Argon has never lived with a kitten, but I'm confident in my ability to keep them seperate until she is a little bigger.
I'm going to look at her on Mon, so wish us luck!

Awesome! Persians definitely rock. They have the sweetest, laid back dispositions. I had a Himilayan named Precious. He was a boy. He was sort of cream colored with chocolate points and just followed me everywhere. He was super tolerant about everything. Bonnie, our Lab would scoot him with her nose all over our hardwood floors being silly. And he just took it, remained limp and mopped the floor. So, Persians are half of what make up Himilayans and I think that laid back, super affectionate trait you'll find in your new kitty. Congrats! And good luck acclimating the dog and kitten to each other.

Well, I feel bad getting you guys excited with no pics, but she's here! Grimm is terrified of her (he's been hiding on the bed and staring a lot), and Argon couldn't give two poops.
It's been so long since I've dealt with kittens that I'd forgotten how much work they are! She's already pulled a Spider man on the futon and the drapes, so I had her claws done this morning. Now she's just falling a lot because she has nothing to grab with!
She is what they call a black smoke Persian, which means she has very dark tabby patterns. She is doll faced and perfect.
The woman called her Precious, which I do not like, so she is currently known as Siobhan. It suits her, but now I need two registered names for her. I like "Book of Kells" for one name, but I need a backup also.
I use the library computer, so it will have to wait a week for pics!
