    And it was yummy as!

I have never attempted it before or even entertained the thought of doing it like this. It took about all of 10 minutes to prepare and it was a yummy apple and cinnamon flavour. It was reminiscent of eating apple crumble for brekky... :yikes:

Here is the recipe I used -

The only thing I left out was the ground flaxseed simply because I didn't have any on hand, but I'll add some in next time.

Has anyone got any awesome oatmeal recipes to recommend? I'm itching to try refrigerator oats as well.

My brother throws oatmeal, yogurt and fruit in the fridge overnight and has it for breakfast. He likes it, but it sounds disgusting to me. I don't like oatmeal to begin with, and nasty mushy yogurty oats sounds even worse. I also can't help but think how carb-loaded oats AND canned fruit AND vanilla yogurt is for a breakfast lol.

Hmm, perhaps I'll have to try this. I've made steel cut oats in the rice cooker before, which is also tasty

Agreed! That is a LOT of sugar for a breakfast! Nothing healthy about that at all.
