Haha, that's cool! I like his beard. Give him a guitar and he will rock your party LOL. I agree with the others though, his nails can really ruin his reputation.

man that poor dog needs a serious nail trim!
^^^That ... and he's badly in need of a dental. Dunno ... maybe the dog's sensitive to anesthesia or they can't afford a dental right now? But no excuse on the nails ..that they can do themselves. As it is now, his nails look painful for him to walk on. :(

The haircut looks weird, amusing but weird.

Seriously about the nails. I dont even care what the haircut is. OP, do you know this dog/owners, or was this a random pic you found? Im curious, b/c if you do know them, please tell them cut those nails. the fact that the posted a pic with the nails so visible, tells me they do not know or care about how long they ar. If i had a dog with nails like that, i would be embarrassed for other to see them.

This pic is circling a bunch of internet image boards, so I doubt Necho knows them personally.

The nails are atrocious, but ain't much the rest of us can do about it! Some folks only care enough about their dogs to give 'em silly haircuts. *shrug*

I'm just sayin' . . . . :rofl1:

And yah, the nails  Mine have some that get long, and doing nails is major drama, but I manage to get them one at a time, a little at a time before they get THAT bad.

^^^ True, that.

Some dogs absolutely hate having their nails clipped ... I grew up with one like that, a Shepherd/Dane rescue dog. For whatever reason that we never found out, he didn't like his paws handled except when he voluntarily gave you his paw ... after which he expected you to release it shortly. Still, he needed his nails clipped periodically. We used the same approach you are using ... a little at a time, one at a time, .. and a few treats certainly helped as well. But they also never got as bad as the dog in the picture!!

I was at the HS a couple of years ago when a woman brought her old dog in to be put down because he had trouble walking . My God his nails were so long that they were curled back into his pads !!! I sure hope they clipped his nails and he was adopted !
