    I stumbled across this quote and wanted to share it with you guys. I'm not well read in the literature of Islam, so I'm not familiar with the Qur'an, but, well, truth is where you find it. . . or maybe it finds you.

    "All animals that roam the earth, and all birds that fly through the air, form communities like your own. 'We have left out nothing from our book.' All animals and all birds will be gathered before their Lord. . ."

    To me, it means that no life is worth more or less than another; all creatures have souls, and a place when they die.

    I could most likely write an entire dissertation on it, but that's the quick gist of it.
