yaaaay Tristian! glad he is doing better! when i worked for a trainer, we had a really good champion stakes mare come down with a really bad form of Colitis, not being able to do a biopsy (which as a horse person also you know with a horse who is that down, the serious surgery that would entail is impossible) sadly they tried Predisolone & Equipoise but it didnt work on her & they were forced to have her PTS.

I am glad to read & see that Tristian was able to be helped, always love looking at your siggy of him :)

That is awesome! The difference is really amazing. As someone who also has a horse who is struggling with weight, this makes me so happy :)

I am sitting here and crying in joy over yours and Tristan's story together and his change for the best.

I hope you two will get to spend many more worry-free years together! He is so very lucky to have you.

It's incredible how fast that turned him around! ((hugs)) Really amazing, I can't wait to see what he looks like again in a few more months. Even better that you know how to counter it if it manifests again. :)

OMG this is *such* an awesome update! When I read the first line, I was worried you'd lost him, but then I got to those photos at the end with the amazing turnaround! Soooo happy for you guys!!
Exactly what went though my mind. I am THRILLED to have been wrong, and happy for the two of you. You've really stuck with him, literally through thick and thin. :)

I amp SO relieved that your post ended the way that it did!! Good for you and Tristan!!! Fleetwood has some sort of Autoimmune disease with similar eating issues related to inflammation in his intestines-- and prednisolone brings him right out of it. He'll refuse food for days, but after a dose of pred, eats his whole meal 15 mins later. So glad it has brought Tristan out of a bad trend! Keep it up!
