Norris is actually doing much better with going down and up the stairs. Most of the problem I'm having with loose-lead walking is when he suddenly bolts after a squirrel/cat/other small creature. I lot of the time I won't even notice them until Norris suddenly tries to run on leash. Tonight he nearly dislocated my arm trying to go after a bunny. Working on his leave-it command will help, but any advice for when I DON'T see the creature before he does and he tries to bolt after it? I haven't gotten a no-pull harness yet. I should probably do that.
