I am so proud of my puppy owners, and my puppies.

I have the absolute BEST puppy people anywhere. Once Mike and Milton's OFA Prelim results come down, I will have 4 puppies in the data base who have prelims on hips and elbows. Very soon there will be 4 also heart and eye cleared. One more puppy has normal heart data coming to OFA. This is the pup that belongs to Penny's breeder, and she does not plan to do prelims but he will have everything at age 2.

As will EVERY puppy in this litter. I am looking forward to having nine OFA records for this litter available for public view at the OFA as much as I looked forward to finishing Penny's CH and CD titles.

It is looking very good to me already. Don't you think it's beautiful?

I was gonna ask about this, not sure if it's OT but I'm gathering there might be a docking debate in the Rott world? Just out of curiosity, what are the arguments on both sides? Being this is totally OT, feel free to PM me or send a link, I have no strong feelings either way just like to keep up on the goings ons.

Yes, there is currently a huge debate going on about to dock/not dock the breed. It is a subject of very great debate, with both sides feeling very passionatley about it.

I myself am pro docking, and will continue to dock all my Rottweilers.

Figured as much, just the first I've heard about it. Good luck with that one, glad I get to stay far, far away :rofl1:

There is a problem in Rottweilers with judges ignoring our breed standard in the AKC show ring.

Our standard clearly states DOCKED SHORT. The American Rottweiler Club judges education committee has clearly informed judges that the position of the ARC is that the Rottweiler is a DOCKED BREED, and that undocked specimens do not conform to our breed standard.

Still there are judges who ignore this.

I guess MY position on the issue is not hard to figure out, huh? ;)

Are there un-docked Rottweilers that are in the ring, or ones that are docked longer than normal?

Congratulations on the success of your litter, and your success getting them all into great homes that are following through with all the testing!

Puppy number 5 just went into up onto the page. This one was the Orange collar puppy, the one I called "Bruce". He got his heart certification put up today.

Off topic, but why can't I get into the trivia tournament with the log in I created and verified? Sorry, as you were and congrats on Bruce-ay!
