Wipe a tear, I am so proud.

The assignment at school was to make a website
She wrote
My website sponsors the Humane Society. If it was not for them I would not have my own Victor. WHen I was a 6th grader I had my Mom pull over to help these two raccoon babies. They were little and they were holding each other. One ran off when we came to help them, the other crawled in the can, and we took him home. A day later we let it go across the street where the other ran . When we looked at the ground there was a lot of other baby/ kid raccoon paw prints so that is where we let it go. That was my first animal rescue. So when you have a pet needing a home, I will put it up! Please3 help all the poor animals. All they need is a good home and a loving family. So please help me save them from their tears.

THe only reason we didn't release the other right away was because it was dehydrated and I didn't know if it was injured or capable of being on it's own. We followed the instructions of the nature sanctuary and found in the direction that the other one ran, a creek loaded with croaking frogs and hundreds of raccoon prints. i am glad this made impact on her. She learned a great deal, like NOT doing this by yourself, NOt using your hands, Not keeping it as a pet, and most of all who to call for help. Without her help seeing them and telling me, they would have died from the heat alone. IT was a terrible place to be.

Cool

A cool read, I was happy to read it and the way she put her thoughts were nice. She definitely has some sound thinking.
