Hudson's pink nose *Pictures*

Hudson's nose is turning pink!!! I read online all about it. It seems some dogs' noses go pink in the winter in exactly this pattern and back to black in the spring, though some dogs' noses stay pink or striped forever. Anybody know about this?! I love him anyway. ;)

It's quite common and most people refer to it as "snow nose". Piper has it too a bit, but her's is more brown than pink. I can hardly wait for it to go back to black come spring/summer...

Awww, he's a cutie!
I have a Rottie that has "snow nose". It is much more noticable in the winter. In the warmer months you can't see it as much.

Depending upon the age of the dog it can be simply a lack of pigment and it may not go back the way snow nose does.
If your dog's eyerims are lighter, and the pads of the feet aren't fully all black, there is a chance simply from lighter pigment that that's the way your dog is, even if when born their nose was black and stayed that way a while.

He's got a snow nose ;). Both purebred huskies I had in the past had snow noses too. I think its cute. What breeds make up Hudson?

Thanks for the additional comments. His lips and foot pads are all black. I have NO IDEA what breeds are in him! This started in October when we had a really cold spell and has gotten more pronounced.
