I'm boiling mine with chicken broth and bacon as we speak.

I've spent too much on those things to let 'em go to waste. Especially since I think our dogs would actually enjoy chewing them if I could ever get them started.

Bailey's the first dog I've ever had that's liked them  Maddie will chew for a few minutes ones she's started on it for her, but other than that... Meh...

I bought these for my guys:

Even Auggie who doesn't like chewing plastic toys loves it. Because it's bacon flavoured. =P I like the idea of boiling in chicken broth though. I never thought to try that. Maybe I should try that with a few other toys and see if Auggie will play with them then LOL. I'm SO glad Payton likes chewing plastic toys... made some of those purchases that Auggie ignored totally worth it later haha.

Thanks guys. I think I'm going to go to the grocery store tomorrow and buy some kind of broth, or something. In the mean time, I may make one more big order of bully's from bestbullysticks... they have their jumbo 12 inchers on sale, so I think I'll take advantage of the mac daddy's. They last us a lot longer. He goes through the standards super fast. Even the thick he gets through fairly quickly.

Definitely try a few different types.
Obi loves some shapes/types/sizes and will completely ignore others. He did like the dinosaur and he likes the original nylabones but his favorite was a hard, plastic-type pink wishbone-shaped one that he stole from a foster dog. Super macho.

I just have the marrow/knuckle bones, and once the marrow bones are 'clean' I'll stuff them (just have to use something a bit thicker), freeze them and they get them back.
