it depends on how old your dog is, young puppies around 8 weeks need to be taken out every hour.
i got baily at 15 weeks and took him out every 3 hours.
around 6 month i started taking him out once in the morning, at noon, afternoon and night.

he is now over a year and holds it even if i skip the noon-walk but most of the time i still take him out 4 times a day.

a potty schedual that you stick too is always a good idea. makes potty training easier for the puppy

Hades just turned a year.

He goes out every morning, (poop and pee), about 3 or 4 hours later, (pee, sometimes a poop) and two more times we go to bed, which is usually after 12. (Sometimes he goes out more, but four times a day is really all he needs, he could hold it probably more, but there's no need because we're home a lot)

Have you just moved or something? Or did you just get her?

It sounds like she doesn't know where to go, but by 1 year old they should know where they're expected to go!

If you've just moved, you have to give a high value reward and verbal praise for when she does go outside.

we just got her a couple days ago, i would reward her for going outside if she would go outside, i know when you have a cat you're supposed to put thier poop in the littler box if they don't use it, if she poops in the house again should i take it outside so maybe she'll understand thats where it's supposed to be done?

I take Gunner out more often than Tira because he's only 5 months old. Tira is 2 yrs old and doesn't go as often as he does (obviously).
They go out together every 4 hours and Gunner usually goes 2 extra times per day. Tira may not potty every time, but she won't potty in the house either. Gunner will always pee and usually every other time (or every third time) poop.
Basically, take your dog out as much as you can. Exercise is always good and it will prevent accidents inside.

You just got her! Ahhh. Well it will take some time for her to figure out where to go and where not to go.

Probably a few months before she's totally consistent.

Stay on it! High reward and verbal praise for going outside! If you can leave some poopies in the yard so she knows that's where they belong :D
