I tear up easily when I'm really tired. Otherwise not so much...but there are exceptions. That damned Budweiser commercial with the foal growing up and leaving then running back to his buddy...I don't know whether it's the framing or the music or the story touching home...probably the combination...but I can't watch that without tearing up every single time. There's a music video... Country music... song's about suicide... that just...yeah

So in general no but I'm not a tearless wonder either...just takes the right combination.

More often than I liek to admit due to how much I have on my plate currently.

I rarely actually cry, and even more rarely do I do it in front of people. The only times I've cried in front of my family are when I've lost a pet or a friend. I do tear up very easily though, especially when I'm very tired or stressed. I tear up pretty easily at sad books, movies, songs etc. though there are only a few that I've actually cried over.

I hear you guys on the whole angry crying thing. I do that and it totally undermines whatever point you're trying to make.

That sometimes makes me tear up too, and it's so frustrating.

    All. the. time.

-During books and movies when there is any sort of emotional scene (happy, sad, powerful)

    -When I'm stressed

    -When I'm angry

-When an animal dies (in real life, fiction, one I "knew" online, whatever)

And many other times. I cry at LEAST once a week. I will say that I am pretty good at holding it together when I'm in front of someone. The only time that I have just broken down and cried in front of another person was when Reecie died. I'd been keeping it together all day (I had just found out that morning) and then I just broke.

Oh man... why did I watch that? TEARS

This is another one that always gets me.

John Michael Montgomery- The Little Girl

It's a song about a little girl (duh lol) in an abusive home with a drug addict mother and an alcoholic father who ends up killing the mother and himself and then the girl gets adopted into a new family... and just the whole song is tearjerking.

    I'm a cry baby basically.

I cry if I get incredibly mad or frustrated. I cry during particular books, TV shows, movies... most recent was when I cried over Dale on The Walking Dead back in December. :p I cry when other people cry. I cry when I laugh too hard.

The most ironic thing is that it takes me awhile to break down over the death of a pet, or person though. I can remember bawling my eyes out when I thought Indie had cellulitis (which turned out not to be the case), which was a week before she actually died due to a suspected guttural pouch infection (which rarely shows symptoms). Yet, that night when she did die, I was just in complete disbelief and that disbelief lasted for weeks. Tomorrow, it'll be the five month mark and just mentioning that has me bawling... but it took me awhile before I could actually cry because it took so long to sink in.

Almost never. I was really, really painfully shy as a child, and at some point I got it into my head that it was embarassing to cry. My mom claims I stopped crying almost completely by the time I was two.

I distinctly remember many times hurting myself or being sad and not crying. I broke my wrist in a playground accident when I was seven and kept playing for hours. My mom was shocked when she picked me up.

Now it seems like I rarely feel the urge to cry. Sure, I feel sad like everyone else, but I hardly cry.

I cry far too often. When I'm really tired, when I'm really mad, when I was really hoping that something would happen and it didn't, basically, all the time over nothing at all. :p

That said, I'd say I only really cry like once a week... but a lot of little moments where I WANT to cry between those.

A lot less now that I'm out of a relationship. . . I think that's a good thing? :rofl1: I felt like I was in tears all the time between frustration and misery over my job and issues with the BF. Love him dearly, but we had issues in spades.

Lately? Um, when I have low blood sugar and am tired. Then I will cry. Sawyer throws balls at me until I stop, though.

Usually only when really really frustrated and angry. Even then I bottle it up for months and wait until I end up crying over seemingly innocuous things. I have had a lot of stress at work and home lately and earlier this week I had to scrap my first car, and I balled my eyes out. The poor, poor confused and concerned tow truck driver.

At the drop of a freaking hat. When people are nice to me, or when I'm angry, or over a book.

I cry so easily. Like really easily.

Constructive Criticism? Probably will tear up.
    Frustration? Yep.
    Stress? uh-huh.
    TV/Movies? You bet.
    Books? Totally.
    Happiness? Not often, but sometimes.
    Anger? Yes.
Death of anyone, movie/real life/book/online? Will definitely cry.

I hate that I cry when I get mad / during fights. No one will take me seriously, because I get frustrated / angry and BAM waterworks.

I used to be more of a crier. I'm pretty stoic these days. Haven't cried in months.

I'm surprised by the answers in this thread! Like, really surprised.

When I say I only cry every few months, I mean tear up. Like maybe a tear or two. And that usually involves someone SCREAMING at me or being badly physically threatened or a really bad fight/argument with someone.

I've never cried over anyone's death, people or animals, except maybe one or two tears the first time I lost a friend to cancer in high school.

I've never cried over a book/movie/etc. except feeling kind of choked up at the end of Cowboy and Wills. I'm the only one of the large group I saw Marley and Me with that didn't cry...didn't cry during Up!...etc.

I'll shed a few tears during a fight/confrontation with someone but usually only if they're really important to me and I feel guilty about something, or if they cry first.

I can possibly count the times I've sobbed uncontrollably in my life on both hands.

I don't all out bawl very often but it's very easy to make me tear up and drip a few. songs, movies/tv shows, etc. happy or sad lol.

I remember one time I was watching The Young and The Restless and there was this one character named Cassie. She was the young teen daughter of a prominent couple and she started on the show when she was only about 4 years old and it was the same actress throughout the whole show... well she died on the show and I LOST it. Brian was home for lunch and he was hesitant to go back to work because I was seriously BAWLING my eyes out. I really felt bereft lol. LIke I had watched this little girl grow up all those years, like I knew her. lol yeah
