Just curious.

Per week I may do some grooming, may not. It depends.

I usually brush them out 2-3 times a month which takes maybe 2 minutes. Once a month (sometimes more if they've played in the mud a lot) I spend time loading them into the tub and washing them. Then I spend about 40 minutes doing some trimming and such of their feet. That's about it.

I really skimp on the grooming here, lol. It's less than an hour for both all month. I should try to be better about it.

Every 6 to 8 weeks they go to the groomer so she does the heavy lifting so to speak.

Everyday I brush their teeth and do a little combing which takes about 10 minutes per dog.

About twice a week I do a thorough brushing which takes about 30 minutes per dog.

Every two weeks or so I bathe them and blow them out which takes about an hour per dog.

I may clip or trim something on an as needed basis.

It seems like a lot of upkeep to people with wash and wear dogs but I am so used to it that it really doesnt seem like a lot.

Muffin usually gets a bath about once a month(norm correlates to when he finds a dead fish).

As far as being brushed, his hair isn't really long enough to need it. I have a furminator thing that I use on a daily basis for a week or so when he's blowing his coat... that's about it. If he happens to get a small amount of mudd on him I will brush it out once it's dried.

Nails... takes me like 40 mintues or so every 3-4 weeks.

Haven't had Wash long enough to comment on him.

I used to bathe the 3Ms every two weeks, since I'm pregnant, I bathe them every three weeks... After the baby, depend on how busy/tired I am, it'll either switch back to every two weeks, or extend to every month

I brush Mocha & Muffin at least twice a week, even though they never have any mattes or tangles on their hairs. It's our "special time" when they enjoy getting my undivided attention, and I enjoy theirs..

I Furminate maybe twice a month... Clean wrinkles when they get dirty... Do nails weekly (Pug nails grow ridiculously fast for some reason)... And i only bathe them if they smell or rolled in mud or if Izzie is going to therapy or something.

A few minutes if that every week or so just brushing him out... it sounds bad but honestly Auggie doesn't really need a lot of grooming. People always ask me "OMG, you must brush him EVERY DAY!" Err... no. Actually I think the last time I brushed him was a few weeks ago after a bath when I line brushed him afterwards. He had a slobber spot on his neck that I was going to grab a brush and brush out really quick (literally, it takes a few swipes of the brush), but then he went and played in the snow so that took care of that...

About once a month I'll do serious grooming, which if it includes a good brushing, clipping nails, trimming - I timed myself once and it took an hour to do EVERYTHING. Obviously that doesn't include a bath and drying time... bath itself takes maybe 20 minutes? We wrestle in towels to get a lot of the water off, I let him air dry for a while, then usually finish blowdrying him - or let him run around and play outside when the weather is nice, because he dries off so nicely outside in the sun and heat! So I've never really calculated drying time. It's pretty ridiculous but I only give him a bath whenever he stinks which is maybe every 6-8 weeks depending on what he's been up to/gotten into!

yeah that's why I asked. I always always get asked about grooming and I see papillons listed on dog breed websites as high grooming requirements and I laugh. My shelties were pretty much like Auggie sounds too. I think a lot of longhaired breeds are easier than they appear lol.

It takes me about 3 hours to do all 5 at a time, full bath and groom though.

I brush and bathe Zeke about once every two weeks. He gets full groomed every month, but I'm a groomer so I love to do it :). I spend about an hour doing the bath, blow-dry, brush-out, nails, and ear cleaning. Depending on how challenging I make his cut it can take anywhere from 3 to 4 hours to do the whole sha-bang. But I spend about 40 hrs a week grooming :p

In the summer I may brush mine once every week or two (if they grew much of a winter coat ... we're in Florida, so we don't coat up much). I bathe either before a show, when they get dirty, or if neither occurs, about every 3 mos. I trim nails about once a month.

Kya is really minimal. Maybe a bath every couple months, and I trim nails weekly.

The cresteds I do a full groom every week to two weeks. Takes about half an hour to an hour per dog. I love the way they look and smell afterward.

A week? I'm not sure it would even be measurable lol

A bath and quick brushing every few months and the occassional 'hose down' after a romp in the mud/dirt is about all they need lol

Brush thoroughly once or twice a week. I usually bath about every other week, sometimes longer, or if they get really dirty or something. I do some maintenence on bath day everyother week; nail trims if need be, trimming face or feet, so when it comes to the full out groom every 6 weeks, I don't have that much to do honestly :p

Honestly depends.

How do I feel lol. Most days I LOVE just brushing/grooming Blaze and will take my sweet time, which can be 3 hours or so. But in all honesty when I'm "rushed" with a full bathe, blow dry, nails, ears, teeth, trimming of feet, shaving in between feet pads, and what ever other misculaneous things I missing, normally a hour and a half. But he only gets this all done about once every 3 weeks to a month.

I do brush him a few times a week, for bout 15-20 mins. He LOVES to be brushed, so I do it for him.

He really doesnt NEED it, But I like him to look nice. I work in a grooming shop and am learnrng to groom, so he is my walking art piece so to say, so he needs to look nice.

the wowies, about 5 mins a week to do nails (they grow FAST) and then about 15 mins per wowie in the bath once a month...chihuahuas even the long haired are pretty low grooming lol

charlie he takes about 1/2 hour a month i do a bath and nails all at the same time with him, then about every 8 weeks i clip him which takes me about 1/2 hour extra

the cresties are a little more labor intensive.

ruby when in coat (like now) i comb daily (and she still matts grr) takes about 10 mins. jasper gets lotion every other day in the winter...
ruby is bathed every 2 weeks jasper is weekly...

jaspers routein from start to finnish (including his yoghurt bath, nails and his face trimmed takes about 45 mins...

ruby takes a good hour or so...in coat face shaved, i comb her do her nails then bath and condition intensivly (she matts) then blwo dry her out, which takes awhile...
when i short it takes about 1/2 to trim her up with the clippers, which balances out the shorted blow drying time lol.

Everyday Keely Gets her hair brushed in the morning and Her topknot put up in a pony tail.. That takes about 3 minutes. Every evening she gets her teefies brushed.

She gets baths once a week. Takes about 10-15 minutes. (She is bad for getting greasy even for a yorkie, Le sigh) In this ten to 15 minutes she also gets her ear cleaning solution.

Every two weeks, She gets the hair in the inside corner of her eyes and her "eyebrows" As I call them trimmed. Im very very diligant about this so this could take a half hour just for this small amount of work. Then her nails get trimmed. This takes 10 minutes or more depending on the mood she is in :p

Every three weeks the hair inside her ear canel gets plucked. Takes about 20 minutes as I am VERY thorough about it.

And once a month I ussually take the clippers and give her a nice cut. Trim her face and ears. Takes me about an hour.. Im very diligant about it. This time I only trimmed up her legs a bit. I want to let her coat grow out but her legs grow fast then her body :p

Not really much to any of it though.. i enjoy doing it.

Dance gets brushed and combed once a month, right after her monthly bath. Depending on whether or not I blow dry her, that whole process takes anywhere from 20mins to an hour. I used to trim her feet and ears every two weeks, but have slacked off a bit. Now I do that about once a month, which takes roughly 20mins. The Dobermans are never brushed, but I bathe them every three weeks or so. Keira's bath takes about 15mins, Ripley's about 7mins. Ripley doesn't get an all out regular bath though any more than once every few months (which is a 15min bath) -- instead I shower him in diluted vinegar and add a bit of conditioner as his coat/skin can't handle regular shampooings for some reason. And we try to get their nails done once a week, which takes just a few minutes per dog.

Bandit hasn't had a bath in over a year. He doesn't need one. Dog doesn't stink and his coat looks beautiful. So I just leave him be. I run a brush over him every day for about five minutes. He rarely needs his toes clipped but I'll trim up his pants area, ears and feet when they are getting too long. He doesn't require much.

Abby (long haired chi x) is brushed most days, along with a nail trim. She doesn't like her nails being trimmed, so I just do one/two a day. She is getting better, I can do a whole foot in I want to now, but mostly I don't stress about it.

She doesn't need to be brushed that often, it is more of a routine thing and I just combine it with whatever activity we are doing around the yard (training, play etc). It gives me a good chance to poke around and see if there is anything unusual going on.

If I miss a day here or there it does not matter.

I am quite bad at trimming foot hair, so I tend to avoid it. Currently, her foot hair is a disgrace.

Bathing - we could easily go without a bath for ages. She looks good and has no smell. In summer, I like to bath once a month. In winter, we can hold off for a while if we want.
