Pretty simple. How much sleep do you get per night, on average? And it it enough, or too little?

The End. :)

I desperately try for 8 hours. I don't always get it. I get 6-7 hours. It's definitely not enough.

Most of the time 7 hours, which is plenty for me. Even on weekends when I don't have to be anywhere, I can't sleep more than that.

Between 6 and 7 hours most work nights. It isn't enough. I function best on 8-10 hours, which is how long I try to sleep on days off.

If I'm allowed to fall asleep when I'm tired and wake up when I'd like? 9-10 hours.

What I normally get when I have to be at work in the morning? Anywhere from 6-8 hours. And, after after a few nights of that, when I finally have a chance to not wake up to an alarm I normally sleep around 11 hours.

I do not function well at all on anything less than 8 hours multiple nights in the row.

Like 10 hours most nights. Past couple days I've slept 12-13. Feist has not been pleased.

Well I have a tendency to stay up too late and then get only 4-5 hours a night. If I do that too many days in a row I will have a night when I sleep for 10-12 hours. But I don't like doing that kind of yo-yoing and when I am actively trying to make sure I get enough sleep I shoot for 7 but am ok with 6. As I get older I am more of a night owl and need less sleep overall.

Most the time around 4-5 hours. Yeah it's bad. Then I sleep for 10 on the weekends.

I've been aiming for at least 6-7 lately and hopefully 8 every night. The times I get 7-8 for a few nights in a row I feel SO MUCH BETTER.

My regular schedule is to go to sleep around 1-2 am and then get up around 9 but I have to be up on work days at 5 am. It kills me. I'm not a morning person and people keep telling me I'll get used to it... I'm not. It's been 2 1/2 years and it still sucks.

Never enough. Most nights 6-7. I need 8-9 for proper functioning. I also have absolutely no bed routine for my body anymore. I used to be able to go through the motions of getting ready for bed, falling into bed, and then being asleep in minutes. Not anymore. It stinks.

*cough* of course it has nothing to do with my boyfriend and the nightowl hours he keeps *cough*

I seem to do best on 9 hours/night. Tues-Friday I get about 7.5h/night, sometimes up to 8.5h if I'm strict about going to bed when I first feel tired vs working through it and staying up until 11:30p. >.< If I'm not trialling over the weekend I tend to get 9h Sat and Sun nights.

I fall asleep around midnight usually, sadly that doesn't change no matter how early I have to get up.
So I'd say 6-7 hours is average. It's not enough IMO, I know it sounds like enough but it never feels like it is lol

8 hours usually.

Yeah, it's enough. My problem is I just can't do mornings. No amount of sleep makes 6:30am appealing to me.

9 hours is my ideal. That's how long I'll sleep if nothing wakes me. If I sleep 9 hours I wake up totally clear and awake, none of the drifting in and out or wanting to fall back asleep or stay in bed. I usually get between 6-8 hours (last night I got 6.5 for example). So not bad. It all depends on what time I have class. I generally go to bed at 10:30 (start getting ready around 10, am actually in bed by 10:30).
