thaw/refreeze raw and still feel it's safe to feed? I know it's generally different for dogs than it is for people.

Do you have a limit? I've always said one thaw/freeze/thaw is fine, but I'm leery about more than that. Am I just being silly?

Meh I have frozen and thawed things a couple of times for me.. for dogs I don't worry really at all.

For people as long as the food is heated thoughly again (or cooked) its not really an issue of health, more of taste. Even then if you thaw it in the fridge its less of a worry all together...

Meh I never worry about that. Raw feeders even feed their dogs old, old, freezer burnt meat without batting an eyelash.

Alot of the organs I buy Teagan come frozen. I just unthaw them in warm water package them up again and them re-thaw.

What would be the danger in multiple thaw/refreezes? I don't know a whole lot about meat lol. :) I guess I wouldn't want to refreeze something that had been thawed out for days, but if that wasn't a factor then I wouldn't be worried.

I do it all the time but food doesn't last here much long enough to repeat it too many times.

I throw knuckle bones back in the freezer after they've been chewing on them in the yard... like 3 times each. I guess I'm gross. But Fozz will chew on old bones that he buried weeks ago and isn't affected, so it's better than that!
