The one that I have been wondering about is papillion.

I've always pronounced it pah-pee-yon. I'm sure that isn't right though.

I pronounce Fila as Fee-lah.

LOL hope I am not saying it wrong as that would be rather embarrassing.

How do you pronounce Keeshond? I've always been confused because I've heard it several ways, and of course I forget later.

And Tervuren? As in Belgian Tervuren.

I always wondered if I said Cane Corso right, I was, thank goodness

Oh and i always got Malinois wrong, I didn't take the language into consideration, just pronounced mal-in-noise didn't realize it was mal-in-wa.

I always pronounced it as Caynay course-oh. LOL.

I know how to pronounce most breeds recognized by the AKC, because I watch dog shows on TV. I am lost with the other breeds.

Samoyed is one that I used to mispronounce for the longest time.

Kooikerhondjie - Kooker hond kie. That is how we pronounce Ducth words in Afrikaans.

Keeshond - Kees - hont

Papillion - Pap ee yon.

So it'd be pronounced...

Groenendael= groan-in-dale
Tervuren= ter-vuer-in

I pronounce the cane corso the same as everyone else has posted. I havnt ever met someone who knows.

I have heard keeshund a couple ways. Kay-shund is the way a breeder told me it was.
