Ozzys full name is "Oswald NONOBADDOG Lyons"
Suzie = Su - zee
Jack = She - ne -qua
Sue-key (thought pronounced with silent T like tsunami)
Trent is pretty self explanatory. However, despite the fact that is not at ALL an unusual name, NO ONE ever gets it right when they hear it.
"Trench?", "Trick?", "Chen?". Our next door neighbors, who have known Trent since the day we brought him home, are STILL convinced that his name is "Prince".
Ziva: Zee-VA (not Zeba, which is invariably what people think her name is when they just hear it, no matter how much I stress the V)
Aerten/Aeri: Air-ten, Air-E
Josefina = Ho-sa-fina
Buddy is as it sounds LOL
Izze like how people prounce it when its spelled 'Izzy', in fact i never had a problem with the prounciation, it was the spelling (typically ppl spelled it 'Izzy' or 'Izzie')
Auggie's is Auggie Dee.
The Dee stands for Don't.
Mine are easy. I can't spell things phonetically though.
Mia = Mee-a (Mee-uh)
Summer- like the season.
I still read Nia's name the same as Mia even though I know it's not pronounced the same. I can't help it.
Yo -> like in yoyo
Shi -> she
Though in Hungarian it is properly pronounced Cot-a-lin or Cot-a-lina.
Just like the words. Eve (eev) and Dusk (duss-k)
This thread was a great idea!
