How do you keep neosporin on your dog?

Buddy's a tricky one... sometimes I can put neosporin on him and distract him with a bone or treat or something... other times I can put it on him and he is determined to get the stuff off.

He had an incident with the deck and has been licking his scratch constantly and I keep trying to put neosporin on it so it will heal and he keeps licking it off.

This time, I dunked his bone in some yummy chicken broth and that got him distracted.. but he can't get treats everytime... any words of advice out there? Oh and a cone around his neck would not work...

I can't keep anything on Dakota either. He always injures his feet so I get some thin gauze and wrap them up in that, then put a kid's sock on his foot so he can lick all he wants without getting the foot itself wet.

Hmmm.... you're a smart one, you are. I'll have to think of some creative things like that for Buddy.
