How can I find out about Dog Friendly Events in the Nashville Area

We went to our Towns Dog Days with Sasha and she loved it. It was just a day for the dogs, with contests and treats and just to meet with other dog owners.

Does anyone know how I can find out about other dog events in the Nashville Tennessee area?

Also the Charlotte NC area (my sis lives out there and I'd like to take her to one too with us.)

I found this online: Nashville has a new magazine called Modern Pet with a calendar of events for Nashville pet owners.

I know you can pick up a free monthly pet newspaper at Ma & Paws Pet store near the new Walmart on Indian Lakes Blvd.
