But, have to say, prey model is NOT at all hard to figure out, even for young puppies. There is no way I could ever afford premade raw for my guys (and dont prefer it anyways) but you dont need to sit and calculate everything for it, its balance over time. I feed puppies the exact same I do adults...just the amounts may differ.

Even with Sibes being pretty thrifty compared to other breeds I can't imagine paying to feed two growing Sibe puppies premade commercial raw.
And really... if you have any common sense or intelligence at all, putting together a balanced pmr diet really isn't that difficult. Yes it requires some thought and consideration and math.... but once you get in the groove I think its actually easier and more comfortable than mindlessly pouring kibble or whatever into a bowl because you know EXACTLY what nutitrition is going into your animal. And that can be important with dogs that have very sensitive systems.
I actually did a combination of The Honest Kitchen (grain free ones), premade, and the odd RMB for teeth (they've always gotten RMB's even on kibble) and while it fixed the constipation issue and her poor was fine, Lily's coat got NASTY and she lost a lot of muscle. Honestly the detox she went through was pretty horrifying, but both her and Scout's transition was very fast and very smooth. But then they have pretty easy to please tummies as long as there isn't any grain or anything present.
Usually pups are easier to transition as well because they don't have the build up of crap in their systems that adults often have. There's a really good support system for raw feeding on another forum about dog food, but I don't think we're supposed to post other forums here.
But even if you do try premade or something dehydrated like THK or Grandma Lucy's or something.... its still worlds better than Iams lol. And who knows maybe you won't have issues with it. It just didn't work for me and I've seen numerous accounts of it not working for others, so figured it would be best for you to be fully informed. By no means am I saying commercial raw is bad.
