Just jolted awake to the house having the everloving hell pummeled out of it and a nasty lightning storm. Right on cue, weather guys!

Afraid to go out tomorrow and look at my truck.

NATURE, YOU SCARY! pretty sure half the forum is probably used to hailstorms, this is newsworthy if you live in Vegas lol

You have to be pretty **** used to hailstorms to not be taken aback when big hailstones fall on you in the middle of summer in Las Vegas

Used to hailstorms? not like THAT. YIKES. That is some serious ice. I don't think anyone would be used to that. That's crazy. I hope all is well this morning and not too much damage done

I don't care where you are, how used to hail storms...that's a lot of significantly sized ice! :yikes:

Took a look, truck is dinged up a bit but somehow none of my windows are cracked or broken. Funny how another truck can kick up a tiny rock on the freeway and crack a windshield but, by Dog, thousands of quarter to small egg sized balls of solid ice didn't. Not that I'm complaining...

Seriously though, I've been in some hailstorms before in other states, where the few minutes this went on would've been nothing, but never in a place with concrete shingles. Felt and sounded like the house was flying through a meteor shower. Always a positive way to wake up... :rofl1:

Good thing hailstones are mostly smooth or there'd be a lot more broken windshields and windows!
