My dog HATES eating, making her eat is basically like torturing her.

I can not get her to eat big plates of dog food.

Are there any foods that are high calorie in small amounts (like PB or something) that I could feed her pretty regularly. She always feels very thin.

Thanks.

There's always Nutri-Cal gel for a short term fix...very high in calories and will put on weight rather quickly. It's expensive though.

What have you tried, aside from plain old dry food?

Maybe some of the dehydrated foods made by The Honest Kitchen, or freeze dried patties from Nature's Variety? Have you considered home cooked food?

High-calorie foods seem like a logical choice, but unless they also deliver the nutrients your dog needs, they aren't going to do much good I'm afraid. :(
