Hi,

I have been lurking around for a little while looking for separation anxiety info for my 19 month old German Shorthair (Otto). This site has been very helpful, he is still pretty bad, but at least I understand why he is doing what he is doing more.

I just got him back Wednesday from a 2 week board and train facility. (Free run facility, no kennels, crated for naps and meals). My prize for bringing him home was a $200.00 vet bill today for the eye and lung infection he caught from something there.

Just proves that even if you make sure your pet is up to date, they still can catch something regardless.

Oh well thanks for all the old threads and advice

That is true, and I hope Otto is feeling better now. My dog had a form of canine conjunctivitis (pink eye) that she caught from a socialization class and unfortunately spread it to my coworker/friend's dog who we walk with often, before I got it under control and not contagious.

Thanks everyone I will posts pics soon.

Hopefully he feels better soon because, I really want to get started on his commands with him to try and break his separation and velcro dog issues.
