This is the frozy bowl that i make for Joey everytime is hot out,

HOW TO MAKE A FROZY BOWL

Take 1 large fruit bowl (or 1 for each dog)
Fill with water,
chop some carrots, cheese, sardines, etc etc (whatever you like)
put them in
freeze it overnight

and hey presto..............

Boris does too, I gave him 3-4 ice cubes a day as a treat. When we got him, there was lots of snow and ice in the yard, and he kept going after the ice blocks on the stairs and eating them. So we figured he would like ice cubes too so we tried, and it was indeed a success.

That's a cute idea! lol! Gus would just leave it though until all the ice had melted and then eat the treats!

That is a really good idea! I will have to try that! I sometimes give the dogs frozen beef cubes in the summer and of course regular ice cubes. But that is a really good idea! I could see my dogs not only enjoying it but having fun with it!

Love Joey in his cape to keep cool! Mine would have taken it off and ripped it.

LOL he did do that the first time i put it on him, he thought 'what the hell is this!!??'' and shook it off
but he realises now that it cools him down and actually enjoys wearing it now and just acts as if its not there
he does remind me of a horse wearing a rug though LOL
