Help - unable to post pictures/attachments

I tried sharing recent pictures of Roscoe in the Dog Pictures and Pet Photos forum and below the message my "Posting Rules" box (below a thread I tried to start) stated that "you may not post attachments" and I can't post pictures at all. Is there a minimum number of posts I must reach before I can post attachments? If not, who do I contact to have this permission changed?

P.S. The posting rules in this forum show that I DO have permission to post an attachment, but I keep getting the "upload failed" message when I try posting a picture.

I might not be much help with this but I'll try! Are you trying to post an attachment like with the little paper clip? I've never tried to do that, but I'm pretty sure most people post pictures buy uploading them to an image hosting website (like flickr or photobucket) and then copying the img code into the post.

Let me know if that you want more specific instructions and I'll try to help. I'd love to see pictures of your pup!

Thank you @amberdyan! I've tried using the "manage attachments" attach file option below the reply box when I'm replying/creating a thread, and I've also tried uploading to flicker and pasting the img code into my post, but permissions are denied no matter which way I try.

I would definitely appreciate more specific instructions. There may be something very simple I'm missing here and I really want to share pics of my boy.

Hi everyone, the only thing i might suggest to the posting problem is since I just posted two pics from my phone on this website, is that if it is not the right size it wont post and will say, you can’t post. Have you tried various size photos. I’m not sure of size requirements, but i just posted two pics taken from my samsung phone and it posted without a any problems. Also, if you internet connection is not 100%, it won’t post either. Hope this helps.
