I don't know anything about where she lives. What do you mean you don't think there are 3 vet clinics. I live in the middle of nowhere too....45 minutes to the nearest vet. There are about 3 or 4 vets in that area. But I can drive an hour and a half to the big city where there are lots, as well as a 24 hour emergency hospital.

I have been to the vets. There is no vet that is open this time of night around where I live. There is no where else to go. I have all of the numbers so no I do not need them. I came on here for help, and you have all let me down. I just thought that maybe someone might know something about sick puppies. You all have me in tears because of your behavior. Just because two of my puppies already died doesn't mean that I should be a breeder. I'm a good breeder and haven't had any problems up until now. Well, I'm signing off now. Thank you all for nothing. You ought to be ashamed of yourselves. Instead of counting how many times I post, how about giving me suggestions. Thanks for nothing.
we did give you suggestions but you refuse to take them. when i first got my dog around 12 am in the morning she puked up a wad of grass. you know what i did? i ran to the evet. for something completely normal for her. go to an evet. we've give you advice. and that is to go to another vet. they're closed... ok go to an emergency vet. if this is going on there is NOTHING we can walk you through doingover the internet to help your dog. i hate to sound mean but this is what you HAVE to do. you are responsible for them and their lives and as such you have to get them to an emergency vet to have a look at them. once again i'm not trying to be mean or rude i'm just giving you the facts

So the pup isn't eating at all? Where did you get your mother pug? Call the breeder and ask for help. Surely you know fellow breeders....someone you might have mentored with????? They'd be good at knowing what to do, if there is anything to do.

There ARE three clinics I found associated with the city in which she lives. Her phone number traces out to a particular city in PA. Do you want me to post the anywho?

Pug, you are a breeder who cannot contact a vet. Do you not have a working relationship with one of the three clinics in your city?

i just called a vet in your area, and the lovely lady from the answering service offered me the number for an emergency vet about an hour from you.

And what a coincidence that she posted this thread exactly an hour ago... she could have been pulling into the emergency vets parking lot RIGHT NOW...

if she would have put a little more effort into her search

:( poor pups

I have to drive an hour no matter where I'm going....to get anywhere. Is an hour not in your vocabulary? This is ridiculous. We should be ashamed of ourselves??????? No, you should have a plan and be able to solve problems like this yourself if you're a breeder....heck, even if you're not a breeder....if you're a big girl. We all need to know what to do in emergencies, what is open all night...emergency clinics etc.

If the pup dies, then you'll just have to accept that these things happen sometimes...part of life. You have to figure that something is inherently wrong with puppies that die like that and it's just nature's way of ensuring that the fittest survive. It's too bad for us humans....but maybe it's really a good thing in disguise. So, you'll just have to do the best you can. Good luck to you. I'm signing off....of this thread anyhow.

I think this thread might benefit by being closed. But that's just me. I have the sneaking suspicion, troops are on the way.
