Help!!!!! Not sure whats wrong with the kitty!!!

k i fixed the celling proling kitten a while back, but now i have a whole new load of trouble!!!!
my cat is an indoor cat i never let her outside, shes maybe 10 months now, and well i never fixed her or had shots.... i know im a bad mom but i just couldnt afford it, anyhow i think shes in heat because she just wont stop crying and is in weird positions and licking herstuff alot..... and boy is she wailing im about to put her food in the grage and lock her in there!!! she doesnt sleep!!!!!!! and so neither do i!!! but we had an incident a few weeks back and well she got out, my son probly even held the door for her, hes only 2, so weve been very careful since and shes made small atemps but so far soo goos so im wondering is its a heat cycle or should i get a grandma t-shirt? oh and she does this weird crouching scratch thing alot and if i talk to her even yell at her she turns her butt and does it more to me???? but she was just doing it alot and i was watching but for a few minutes when i was turning the computer on i wasnt watching her and now i noticed some pink creamy stuff on the floor???????????? please help ive never delt with this and am loosing it!!!!!! thanks!

Sounds like a heat cycle to me! Ghastly, isn't it? I don't think you're going to be a grandma this time, but it's worth getting her fixed to avoid the costs associated with (a) her getting out to run mate and getting lost and/or hurt, or (b) getting pregnant. A stitch in time saves nine--a spay in time saves hundreds of dollars. You'll probably have to suffer through this one. I understand it's not safe to spay in the middle of a heat cycle. But try contacting your local shelter, humane society, or SPCA and ask about discounts or vouchers offered on spays and neuters. Our humane society has what they call a SNIP voucher. (Spay/Neuter Incentive Program.) It's coordinated with several local vets. You just ask for a SNIP at the HS, take it to the vet, and get a huge discount on the procedure.

oh that would be great, thanks soooo much, yeah after only my 2nd day in ill find the money to do it lol!!!!! i cant believe how horrible it is how much longer and is there anything i can do for her besides find her a boyfriend, thought it has crossed my mind LOL!!! and what about the gross stuff that came out her grossness, i have such a week stomache hoe much more of that? and can i keep her locked up untill its over? or at least the night time, not that shes much quiter, she is trying to break the door down right now i just put her in to clean up the gross stuff.... im ready to pull my hair out no one ever said it was this bad!!!!! they even said oh its no big deal!!!!!!!

I know it's yucky, but look at it this way: you won't let it happen again, right? Don't lock her up by herself. It's not her fault she's a lady. I know I can be hell to be around for a couple of days a month, and I'd sure resent being shut in a room during that time. I promise she's not having much fun right now, either! Can you imagine having a biological drive like that? Just don't let her get out. It'll all be over soon!

I know just how you feel. I had ONE cat who had her ONE heat and it wasn't much better for me than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. But it added a whole new reason to my list of why I fix my pets!

thanks sooooo much, i feel for her i do, but man they have no shame, lol, but thakns sooo much a bit more relieved and never will have an unspayed pet again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! now a few days thats like no more then 4 right? lol cant help it!!! headint to bed hopfeully ill make it back on here tomorrow!!!
oh and i think i read something about your mom getting a vute puppy, dont recall the name but saw pics they are adorable!!!!!! congrats!!!!! and get it fixed lol!!!

They sell diapers or something like them for use when cats are in heat at petstores. Although I think your cat is nearly done and it will probably be a waste for you to run out now to get some. My dog Nora, went into heat at 4 months old (wasn't expecting that so young) I always planned on spaying her but she just was an early bird I guess. She kept herself pretty clean though so I really didn't see any of that gross stuff. And I'm sure cats and dogs are completely different. OK I'm babbling

Years back we had 2 cats, neither had been fixed due to lack of money at that time. Well one got out and when we found her it was to late. So we ended up with kittens. Meanwhile the other cat would go into heat, drive me nuts with her sounds but then I realized if she was in our room at night she would just sleep and not make all those noises. But in the morning she'd walk around the house making awful sounds. I'd at times in the daytime put her in our room and she'd curl up to sleep. Let her out and it was the same thing, being loud. What was really strange about this girl, once the momma cat decided it was time to ween her babies, we found homes for 2 of them but was going to keep the other 2, then she started nursing them! These 2 boys adopted her to be their mother. She wanted so badly to be a mommy she adopted the kittens who were old enough to be weened. We'd seperate them but anytime we wasnt paying attention we'd find them right back nursing on her. We ended up having to get homes for them. The boys just didnt want to give up their new mommy and she was caut up in the moment of having babies.
