What titles and health certs do your adults have? May I ask why you have an electric collar on the mother, while she's nursing her puppies, on the couch?

Ummm... am I reading correctly that momma dog turned 1 year old on Feb 6th? So she was bred at under one year of age? Her first heat cycle?

I sincerely hope you're thorough in screening new homes for your puppies. Do you plan on being a consistent weim breeder or was this an oops litter? If you want to be a breeder, what kind of titles do your sire and bitch have? Did you have both health tested before the breeding took place or at all?

These are all things considered important in a breeder trying to better their breed rather than make a buck.

  6. Holy cow... am I really seeing a poor momma dog with a shock collar nursing her puppies that are sliding off of a sofa?? :yikes:

Looks like an invisible fence collar. But I guess it's the same thing? You just aren't holding a button in your hand to shock her.

I think that this is a " ditto " thread . Please folks watch out for on line sales ! Most are either Puppy Mills or BYB ! A good line and good breeder doesn't need advertising . NEVER buy without visiting the kennel or having someone you trust to check them out !

  11. Me thinks the idea of this person starting this thread was to simply "advertise" their litter.

Keep movin' along, no one here wants a weim puppy from a backyard breeder.

Wow! you are all welcome :)
Electric collar?? NO Sir, invisible fens, both adults have it and enjoy every minute of it as they can run in and out anytime the please. It beeps only when the dog goes out of the range which is set to 180 feet radius. In the house it is just a collar with the battery in it.
Now, let me start from the top
SizzleDog - what do you mean by titles? My dogs are well taken care of and current on any shots deworming etc, Or did you mean if they have gold medals for being great Weims? Yes they have.
Yes, Sally was little over 12 months when she got pregnant, And what so wrong with that? We have checked with the Vet who knows her since she was a puppy and there was not problem there.

PoodleMommy - why would you think that? Both my adults were 8-10 weeks when we got them( 2 years apart)

Izzy's Valkyrie - this is just getting better and better.. my dear if you knew anything about breeding you would know that at 450 a puppy there is no making a buck here. We take great care of he adults and the whole litter and I don't care about making a profit.
We both happen to work from home so they are under 24/7 care , no kiss or love is spear here.
Yes my dogs are checked, tested and you can eat from their mouth no problem.
Never had a flee or health problem ever. And no, no plans of breeding them again.

    Who's next?

I thought you got her as a pup... I was hoping I was wrong.

No dog should be bred at a year old.

I doubt the puppies are perfect.

Even a litter out of a great show dog may have few "prospects"... I dont know any litter ever produced in which all dogs were perfect.

Why did you breed these two dogs, what were you doing to better the breed?
This is the question anyone who has bred their dog should be able to answer.

Most health testing can not be done until two years old... therefore, you are breeding an "unknown" dog.

What health tests did you have done?

Taking your dog to the vet and having them say they are "flea free" is not a qualification for breeding.

You are quite obviously a "backyard breeder"... just admit that... say you have an oops litter and are looking for homes.

No one here is going to take you seriously if you try and say your a great breeder who did a good job here.

Did not come here to sell or to get educated, I know enough about puppies so if you have nothing helpful to say- save it or go after someone who let you run her/him over
Nothing wrong in posting link to the pictures of you pets in the signature is there?

And who do you thing you are to doubt something base on nothing more but a picture?Have you tested my dogs??
Still you admit that even if waited 2 years it is all possible, great, so why bother then? it is pure luck isn't it?

Yes good question, just like why 2 people have a children..

    Yep guilty as charged!
I checked their skin for flees remember? Read yourself above-I have to wait 2 years before testing so why do you ask?
No it's not ..oops, you got me there

YES, I am a backyard breeder, and I am looking for 3 more homes as we found 6 before the puppies were even born yet, imagine that!

Never said that. All I said was Hello from Florida
My name is Agata I have 2 Weims and 9 puppies.
Then all of you jumped at me with questions which are kind of to late to ask because the puppies are here already REMEMBER?
