oooo look me up anytime....and i am sure you will hear nothing but good from the poeple worth hearing it from....if you spoke to CCC then she is the one who bred my 6month old boy and then bred him again at 8 months....since you are from ontario and that is where ccc is from i would guess that is your source...have fun with that one two...her, linds and sara are good for each other....and no worries linds working on the screen shots right now

Sparknotes version:You are rude. Good riddance.
I don't have a c/koolie and don't want one but unlike you, those two "girls" came to this forum with an open mind willing to answer questions and truly join the community..they are doing great by this breed just by being loving owners of a few awesome dogs and doing the right thing and health testing.

but hey, what do I know.. I'm an American :rofl1:

Also, if I hear anyone disparaged simply for being young one more time, I'm going to go mental.

    And I'm old.

This just makes me sad...and a little sick inside. And, also saddening, SO glad I got a Kelpie that no one cares about rather than dealing with this horrible sort of attitude if I had this breed. When I do things with my plain old Kelpie, no one is mean, slanderous, or vindictive. Sad for the Koolie world though as I am quite active in the dog world and promoting well rounded performance dogs that are Lao house pets.

Thank You. I thought I was being grumpy because I deal with the "I'm older than you and therefore better" daily at work, but the last few days have been hell because of it. Glad I'm not. :lol-sign:

No, your wrong, yet again. I have no clue who you are talking about and I have not done any research or have any sources at this time, but that can change and I haven't met any Koolie owners here yet.

Just knock it off and go away.

I have absolutely no involvement in the C/Koolie world, on a personal level I have no real interest, I am not overly involved with Sara or Linds on any sort of level other than a "Howdydoo"...and I think you come off sounding like a complete nutcase. Sorry. You might want to work on your PR skills.

I can't believe I'm starting to feel old. I remember being 15-18 on a dog forum and talking to "old" people, hell they were probably a whoopin 28.

    Sad.

LOL I hear you there Adrianne! So weird to realize I'm older than a lot of my Chaz friends. Guess I should start discounting their knowledge and suggestions now, eh?

Indeed, seeing "young girls" repeatedly used as a derisive and dismissive phrase is doing terrible things to my blood pressure.

This whole thread was rude and srsly the most hypocritical thing I've seen on chaz in a looooooooooooong time.

    And not from Avalon.

Trav, zing and didge came from a poor breeder by all accounts and they actually AGREED with Avalon on his poor practices, buy hey he's old?

Yet they like her practices except she doesn't health test or sell breeding dogs and she gets the Spanish inquisition?

Am I missing something because this is totally wtf to me..... I mean yay they're testing their own dogs, don't plan to breed merle to merle etc...... But is that enough to justify the practices the dogs came from?

    I don't get it.

Depending on the breed? Yes. Much as I absolutely hate to say it. There are breeds out there, including mine, where it's nearly impossible to get dogs from breeders that have the "ideal" ethical standards of most breeds (complete health testing, an application process, etc, etc) and your only option is to buy from a breeder with less than stellar ethics in order to start doing it the "right" way yourself.

So because 2 people on the forum -- who have been asked why they chose the dogs they did from the breeder they did, who have been told outright that people don't agree with their choice -- got dogs from a breeder you find bad... anybody on the forum who asks another breeder -- that again, you find bad -- why they don't do health testing.... they're being hypocrites? What? The same people who have asked Sara and Linds the same questions... and gotten like, I don't know, respectful answers from them.... are hypocrites for asking another breeder? Wouldn't it make them hypocrites NOT to ask, since they asked Sara and Linds? Are we using different definitions?

I mean, yes, were people more polite with Linds and Sara? Of course! Linds and Sara, who are supposedly too young to know any better, were much, muchore polite than Avalon and her friend were. Much. Want politeness and respect? **** better well show some.
