In distant relation to our discussion of birth control, there's a recall of some common generic pills:

I'm pretty sure I have at least one of the bad packs, I need to go home and check. Serious consequences are impossible in my case.

But if you use these, double check!

Ugh, mine were in the Pfizer lot... big scare there, especially because I was late, but my ego is, fortunately, NOT prego. Good luck to anyone else who's pills are on the recall list! I was SO angry when I found out mine were bad!!!

I don't use BC... Have had issues with every kind I've tried. Will pass this link to my sister though.

I'm not altogether pleased to see these are made in India, either.

When I lived in India, "India-made" was a running joke. It meant "shoddy piece of crap." This was not an expatriate joke . . . it was something the Indians said. Any time something broke, some nearby Indian would wobble his head, shrug, and say "Hmmmm . . . India-made."
