I love the puppia- def the easiest to put on and comfortable. But we only use it for a back-up because the neck is absurdly big.

Just got the Comfortflex in the mail today, and so far I LOVE it! Fits Pentti really well, seems comfortable, and we took a nice, long walk tonight and it didn't rub him at all! So far so good! I might even order one for Bubbles :)

I don't want to start a new harness thread so just going to add to this one.

I'd like to get Cricket a harness, but have very strict needs for a harness which makes it hard to find what I'm looking for. I prefer Y shaped in the front mainly because I don't want to put the pressure on her shoulders, but at the same time I want a front clip harness which I don't think I've ever seen on a Y shaped harness? I'm not super educated in all the harness types though... I'm not a fan of back clip harnesses for the "encouraging pulling" factor. Plus... I'd prefer fleece lined on the front part of the harness if possible because any amount of rubbing tends to make Cricket lose hair in places and irritate her skin. I would be ok with a non Y shaped harness provided it sits correctly and not on her shoulders... ya I'm not asking for much am I? lol.

We do have an Easy Walk because it's front clip, but I hate it because of the way it sits on her chest. It's not comfortable for her to wear at all and it feels odd to try and walk her in it.

You can clip a leash to the O-ring on any Y-front harness.

These look neat, but I'm not sure if they are available in the US:

They are walking harnesses from xtra dog.

Since this went a little OT already.. Is there a way to use a harness with a backpack on without causing mega bulk and rubbing?

Depends on the harness and the pack. I have a green backpack from Petco that worked amazingly well with Logan's "agitation"-style harness.

Hurrta makes a really nice Y-shaped harness... I had one for Jackson, but returned it, only because it fit him weird. He's such an in between sizer, so it was way too small for his neck, but next size up was way too big! lol. Otherwise, I LOVED it, and really wish it fit him properly, I'd get another. It doesn't have the front clip harness tho.

I used to dogsit two Goldens who had the Wiggles Wag and Whiskers no pull harness and it has a clip on front and back. Really nice. Came with a velvet lined strip for under the armpit area.

Can we have pictures of your lovely dogs in their new bling? I really want to see the ComfortFlex harnesses. It was a hard toss up for me between the chest plate harness, the ComfortFlex and the EzyDog one that looks like a ComfortFlex

Hudson just got an EzyDog Chest Plate harness and so far I really like it.
It's easy to put on
he hasn't slipped out of it yet
it's bright orange
the chest plate makes it easy for those of us who are idiots to know which one goes around the neck and which one goes around the chest
it comes with a seatbelt attachment but the seatbelt thing isn't permanently attached like on the Roadie Harness so it doesn't flap around.
it's bright orange
I like where it buckles. I had another step in style harness that I felt buckled right on top of his shoulder blades. This one seems to buckle a little further forward.

It doesn't hurt that Hudson makes that harness look GOOD!!! :D

I like the other style of Ezydog that Brittany posted, but I think that Hudson looks super cool in that one. :D

I have the other EzyDog harness...somewhere. I didn't like it. I got it for Logan, but it doesn't properly fit either of the dogs, even though I followed the size chart they had on the website. If I could find it, I'd sell it :rofl1:
