Can I just say it's really difficult to get pictures of a deaf dog, lol I'm whistling and clapping and calling her name and she's just got her nose to the ground, no idea I'm trying to get her attention!

Oh hai

Like a model with her hair blowing in the breeze lol

And a Juno, who just ran around and around and around while I kept tabs on Happy

Happy almost looks like an Akita mix in some of those! Regardless, she's gorgeous and I'm so happy we got more pictures of her! :)

Her foster and my vet both said maybe some keeshond in there? I don't know! Her tail does curl over her back sooo that would be neither the BC or sheltie that she was listed as!

I know quite a few BCs that have curly tails when they're relaxed. But man there is something very spitzy about her. I was going to say chow instead of akita. I have no idea how big she is though.

I bet she's pleased with her new arrangements. Looks like a happy old girl.

She looks like the sweetest old girl. I don't envy you trying to get pictures of her though haha. I can imagine that must be quite the challenge! Great job though. And as always, I love seeing Juno. She always has such an inquisitive look about her. :)

Thanks guys!

She's just such an awesome dog :) So sweet, mellow in the house, but for an old lady she is totally game to go out and about - she keeps a fast pace and never lets on that she's getting tired!

Juno is still my #1 girl though, even though she's not feeling like it this week :p

She is slightly overweight at 44lbs. About 18" tall. There's not much of a size difference between her and Juno, I was expecting her to be a good bit smaller. Chow is an interesting thought. But yeah she does look like there's just something else in there.

Happy looks so...well, happy! She really is a pretty old girl, gotta love that gray muzzle. I was thinking maybe chow, too.

Happy looks so happy, and I agree with the others about the breeds. She is adorable though and it looks like she knows her life is going to be awesome from now on. :)

I can empathize with the pictures.. Mo has bad hearing and people must think I'm crazy when they hear me yelling, "Moses! Come here!" about a hundred times before I finally get his attention. Unless I have good, getting him to look at me for a picture is quite a feat. :p

Her name might be simple and widely used, but man does it fit. Her eyes are always happy! :) Glad she's found a home with you and Juno, looks like she's fitting right in. I love the black spots on her legs!

I'd call her Aussie before I said BC. Lizzie carries her tail like Happy does. Does her tail curl up or is it just raised over her back? Happy also looks heavier boned that you'd generally see in BCs.

You should see how happy she looks when food is involved LOL. I totally should have brought treats to the park, probably would have made pictures a lot easier!

Good point! I'm no good at this breed identification stuff. We're bringing her to Lucy's groomer tomorrow to get her thoroughly cleaned up, so I wonder what her guess will be.

Whatever she is, I luff her. :p

LOL I felt like such an idiot. "Happy... Happy come here. Happy. Happy. *clapclapclap* Come here Happy!!" And then she proceeds to ignore me. The people walking by probably thought I just had the world's most disobedient dog lol. Like, I KNOW she's deaf but that doesn't stop me from chattering to her all the time haha!

What a bear! She's so adorable and happy and very very fluffy. Going from her to Juno in the pictures is just funny. The coat difference is staggering.
