Officially 8 years old as of yesterday! I'm so lucky to have such a genuinely good, sweet dog around. She's such a wonderful dog and still going strong at 8! I can't believe she's already 8 though... it goes by too fast. No one ever believes me when I take her out with me because she's so active and eager. Here's to many more fun years, Summer!

Aww thanks guys! It's kind of bittersweet because in the past I've usually started thinking of dogs as 'old' when they turn 8. But Summer is far from old in my mind and in her behavior. I keep thinking of how much Nikki had slowed down by 8 years old and Summer hasn't slowed down at all.

She's such a good girl. <3
