Ok, Emily got up before us and went out and got the tub of butter out of the refrigerator. She opened it up and I guess left it out because Hannah was eating it when I walked out forty five minutes later and it was almost completely empty! Mark's taking a shower and we'll bring her up to the vets but is it neccassary to take her or can we just watch her for something here?

She's gonna get the runs but that should be about it. I would just keep an eye on her. There is nothing deadly about butter! Java used to steal whole sticks at a time with no adverse affects.

Ok, good. Well not good but good. I'll just watch her here than. Should I withhold food from her today, or feed her as regular?

Feed her as regular, and I'd give a bit of cheese to try and combat the mess your gonna have to deal with! haha jk
Boone once ate a 2lbs tub af margarine. It was nasty, but he was fine.

Would depend on whether or not she gets diarrhea from it. If she does I would not feed her, or at least only a partial meal.

My sister was baking something, and she had one of those 4 stick packs of butter on the counter. She used on for whatever she was making, and went upstairs to get something, and the three remining sticks were gone when she came back a few minutes later. My Beagle, Farfel ate them, wrappers and all. My mom called the vet, and he said to get Kayopectate for the mess that was going to come. Nothing happened! He pooped out the foil wrappers a day later, but showed no other effect, nothing. I guess that was a tune-up for when he ate the ham a few months later. The only problem he had from that was he had to sleep it off, he ate about 1/6th his body weight!

Well Hannah's ok, now. She didn't get her food the whole first day and then the next day she only got half. She's started getting her regular amount of food yesterday.
