We have a local pottery painting place here and Hannah went and painted a mug for her grand dad and a bowl for her Grammy. I would like to go back and do more :)

How do you do the jar? Thats neat!
I used an etching cream on the glass... it's basically an acid I think that etches into the glass. It's permanent and the glass is dishwasher safe. You can get the etching cream at a Michael's and most other hobby stores. I just painted the cream on with a brush and then let it sit a minute or so and rinse it off and then cleaned the glass with a little soap and water. Wear gloves if you use the etching cream though.

Here's an update. I painted the sides of the frame black and started placing all the parts where I think I want them to go... haven't glued anything on yet. I know there isn't an apostrophe in you're yet. I'm going to paint the apostrophe onto the frame once everything is all glued. How does the placement of everything look?
