Trying to find a new doo for Samuel, and having a really hard time with it.

Right now he's got sort of helmet hair. It's reaally thick, and dark, straight as a post, and fine. He also has a large round head, so I'm not sure how something like a fauxhawk would look on him.

His hair is getting kind of long, but he doesn't rock the shaggy look like Briggs. He just ends up looking like Mowgli. lol.

Any ideas? I'll try to get a pic with the webcam.

ETA: argh this is harder than i thought. lol. totally just getting blurry pics of his hand

I know it's no help but these are my two nephews right now.

Not sure what Mom was thinking for the one on the left but the one on the right is simply small trimmies to keep him from getting a mane.

Okay, got some. He got pretty mad that I wouldn't let him keyboard mash.

Teehehe... he is soooo cute!

I think he'd look cute in a spiky-kind of look.

(found this on google, and I thought it looked similar to him even! lol)

This is how I keep Mason's hair, though it is on the long side and is need of a trim. I usually trim the front to just above his eyebrows and then the back to the top of his neck.

Thanks for the ideas everyone! Kat, your nephews are adorable. Mason is so huge now oh my gosh! When did that even happen?!? He totally rocks the long hair.

Haha, so I tried cutting it myself because he was in a good mood. I won't show you what the back currently looks like. :rofl1: Lets just say he ran out of patience before I could finish.

Kind of went for the spiky look. It might be a little too long on top, and I think I took his bangs in a bit too short. Oh well, maybe next time, if I can get the hang of this before he's old enough to hate me for the bad haircuts.

And he's shirtless because baby drool + hair trimmings = DO NOT WANT. Right now I'm trying to dry his skin off so the rest will brush off. Ugh.

Well, his bangs are already missing. :( Next time they grow out though I can totally try that one. It grows super fast. We cut it about four weeks ago and it grew out all crazy in that time.

I need to learn how to cut hair better. And how to get babies to hold still. Or start making enough money to pay for haircuts. :rofl1:

Oh man, he's totally kissing the butterflies in his little book right now. :rofl1: And singing to it. We've been working really hard on kisses vs. biting lately. Maybe it's finally paying off.

Best part about babies are that even with a hair cut from mom or a funky little outfit they look adorable. He's such a little cutie.
